Central Illinois German Shepherd Dog Rescue will, in many cases, be able to help applicants with the Match-a Pet program.

This program is discontinued at this time.

The Match-a-Pet program assists applicants find the German Shepherd Dog that would be a match for them. This is only done if one of our available dogs is not a match. (Note: applicants are those who have filled out an application)

If you are interested in adopting a German Shepherd Dog, but do not see one (either on our adoptable list on our homepage or a dog available on our Community Dogs page), consider filling out an application and choosing "yes" for the Match-a-Pet program.

If we match you to a dog located with another organization, you will be required to go through their protocols. We will share our information from you with them, but will not be responsible for the adoption beyond that.
