Belle

June 19, 2007 Here is a picture taken the week of June 4th, 2007 of Belle with the new baby friend that she loves to protect. The baby was found next to his dead mother who had been hit by a vehicle. I feed him goat milk and when he is old enough, will be released to the wild where he would have been if mom hadn't been hit. He is doing great and Belle just loves to lay next to his cage when he sleeps/watching over her new "assignment".

Today is the 2nd Anniversary of coming to Your Home to bring "Miss Belle" to Her new home. SHE IS DOING SOOOOO GREAT!!!!!

The picture [right] is Belle & Puppy along with the new black dog I adopted when a young family got divorced & the dog was paying the price.

Now He & Belle are like brother/sister. All 3 get along perfect. They all 3 get their full amount of attention. All 3 are enjoying their life together. We are planning to take them on vacation to Texas this spring. I have been working with Belle & Rufus (black dog) on getting out of the truck & getting back in when they are in strange places away from home. They are all responding like the intelligent dogs they are.

Here is a brand new picture of "Miss Belle". Tomorrow (Wednesday), She will be celebrating Her 13th month in her new home. Yes, Yes, She is enjoying her life now, THANKS TO YOU AND YOUR DEDICATED FAMILY & LOYAL HELPERS!!!!! Photo: now that's a dog's life!

I just love Belle so much that someday I plan on adopting from you again. My Puppy is doing great, but she is an older dog and Belle will always have a sister/brother. I want the next one to, again, come from you.

Belle is getting soooo protective of us. When a stranger (to her anyway) comes into the door she will sit in front of me and do a low, steady growl. I put my hand on her and she just cuddles up against me, but still is watching. This is exactly what I have been looking for. She is protective, but is listening to my commands. She's Great!!

As you can see, Belle is fitting in very well and is very happy. Thank you for letting us adopt her. Photos: 1) Belle and Puppy 2) Belle and Puppy

Belle

Adopted January 15, 2005

Belle had been estimated to be 2 years old by our veterinarian. She, unfortunately had been in season when they went to spay her, so she came home to wait it out and then would be spayed. She had her exam, vaccines, and AVID chip.
