We picked up Scout the day after Christmas. She was a little shy at first but very friendly. Its like she belonged here. She just loves Bodie and the kitties She is so sweet and well behaved we can't believe anyone would give her up. She has really bonded with [my husband]. We renamed her Sammie

Note from the CIGSDR webmaster: Sammie was put to rest in June 2007 because of age related illness. She was able to spend her last months in a most loving family.

Bodie

Adopted December 2005

Bodie was one of five puppies that were 12-16 weeks old. Applications were collected and screened through Central Illinois German Shepherd Dog Rescue and our adoption requirements and protocols as well as the adoption fee was the same. However, this was a collaborative effort with another rescue group and the adoption contracts and requirements for continued care and review was through the private rescue organization.
