We call him Ludi, short for Ludwig. He loves
to curl up with me when I'm laying on something big enough for the
both of us.
Giselle and Ludi have really gotten used to each other quite quickly. They have enjoyed chasing one another around the back yard and when they aren't outside, they chase each other around the dining room table.
They share toys amazingly well. There are times that we haven't seen Giselle in a while. When we go to look for her, she is curled up in Ludi's crate. I'm just thoroughly amazed how well they are doing together. You really know your dogs, when it comes to matching up housemates.
We now have a new veterinarian. When we took Ludi in for his initial visit, [the vet] said that he knew you and how well you do with your Shepherds. He knew that Giselle and Ludi had the best of care before I adopted them.
I can't thank you enough for these two wonderful additions to my family. They are my four-legged children.

We changed her name from Jazz
to Giselle. She is the sweetest thing to come into our lives. Our
cat, Jazz, is still not sure about her as you can see in the picture.
:) Giselle wants to be friends with the cat, but has too much energy
and scares him away. She loves to be with us everywhere we go...
She is such an attention hog. Photos: 1) Giselle and Jazz, the cat 2) Giselle in
her new home

Adopted on October 5, 2003
Jazz (renamed Gisselle) was a black/tan spayed female German
Shepherd Dog that weighed about 60 pounds. She was 1-2 years old and
was a very human-oriented dog (the ultimate velcro accessory to any outfit!).
She loved hugs and kisses and was more interested in you than anything
else. She got along well with the other dogs and is okay with cats.
She had been around our child and had done well. She was a more dominant
female and asserted herself when playing.
Adopted November 13, 2004
Loki (renamed Ludwig) was a 11-12 month old, male, neutered black/tan
German Shepherd Dog. He was smaller at 52 pounds. He was an owner give
up and was transferred out of a shelter to escape euthanasia. He was
a very sweet boy and got along with all the animals and the baby. He
also did very well in his crate and was super-friendly in general. He
was just looking for a loving home that wouldn't give him up as he got
older and bigger.
