She is filling out nicely. She appears to be
reverting back to being a puppy. Perhaps that was a time of her life
that she never got to enjoy. She wants to play and it is quite a
sight to see her and the cats chase each other around the house.
We go to obedience school Friday evenings. Leila and I walk twice
a day for a total of 3 miles daily. She loves to go for drives. We
finally have convinced her that her place is in the back seat and
that I'll drive the car!
Leila was a 1.5 year old, black/tan, spayed, female, German Shepherd Dog. She was a beautiful young lady. This sweetheart just loved to play and snuggle! She would rather love on her human than eat her breakfast! She was just a cuddle bug. We love her picture here, because we were trying to catch a good picture and asked her to be a "pretty girl" -- she just rolled over for a belly scratch! So much for pet photography! Leila was rescued by a good Samaritan when she was found just running loose as a stray. She was advertised and no one claimed her. She was found to be heartworm positive and was treated by a veterinarian thanks to the very loving home of the people that saved her life.
