Rhett (renamed Rex) Photo Gallery

October 7, 2007

Well we are back from vacation and Rex was an absolute delight. He loved the water after Molly showed him what waves were all about. They played constantly... Again thanks for Rex, he is already a great dog.

September 12, 2007

Rhett's new name is now Rex, named after dad's favorite Shepherd when he was a boy. Rex is the hit of the neighborhood and everyone has to take a second look to tell him and Molly apart. He has been the perfect gentleman, but seems to like garbage cans on our walks.

...[Rex] and Molly are trying to figure out who is the boss. She doesn't want to give up the alpha position but it won't be long before the "big guy" takes over. She tries to boss him and he just ignores her and pushes on past her. On our walks he is all business--just straight ahead whereas Molly is all over the place. ...Needless to say they are signed up for obedience training with Rex being the easier one to train, I think, from his personality.

A special thank you goes out to Rhett's sponsors: Rhett is looking for sponsors.

 Rhett

Adopted September 2007

Rhett was picked up as a stray and named by our beloved veterinary staff. When I described him as tall, dark, handsome, young, and super sweet, they thought Rhett fit. He had a lot of people smitten with him, and they all worked together to get him safe from euthanasia and have a chance for a great home.
