Bea was a shelter transfer. She was found as a stray, and discovered to be heartworm positive. She is a young and very sweet girl. She has a very high toy drive, which makes her not so great for the cat and small dogs, since she thinks they are toys. She has never hurt any of them, but will brighten up and chase them if they cross her path. Probably not the best housemate for smaller pets. They are just animated squeaky toys to her. She loves a ball, though returning it really just turns into keep away until she wants you to have the ball again. She has been treated for the heartworm disease, tested negative and been spayed. Now, all Bea needs is a new forever home to keep her and love her forever. She is a very bright dog and would love a home that likes to engage in activities like walks and running, playing fetch, and snuggle time.
