Central Illinois German Shepherd Dog Rescue

Fiona

Adopted Dec 5, 2004

Fiona is a 2-3 yr old black/tan, spayed, female German Shepherd Dog. She was used as a puppy mill breeding bitch for many years.

Fiona is happy to now be spayed! Her tortured years are over, but she has the new challenge of finding the perfect home. Fiona was untethered at a very rural farm and never ran away, showing the home-sense that we appreciate so much from German Shepherds.

Her farm was kitty free, which was explained the first time she met our cats. She is a very high prey drive, dedicated cat attacker. She needs a small animal free home.

She is very particular about her canine company. After years of sharing, she is friends with a select few, but likes her space as a single dog.

Fiona is very much a cuddly snuggle pup to humans. She loves attention and hops around like a carefree puppy with a few snuggles from a beloved human.

Fiona is not happy in her foster home, since there are others dogs around that she doesn't like. Fiona needs a loving home to just hang out in and enjoy the rest of her life, stress-free.

Fiona would not be a good group obedience class dog and wouldn't like trips to the dog park. So, if you are looking for a homebody friend to hang out with, play with in the backyard, and watch TV with, Fiona is the dog for you.

Fiona he has had such a rough life, being bred, surrounded by puppies and other dogs. She just wants peace and quiet. Consider Fiona for you new best friend.
