Clyde (renamed Zues) Photo Gallery

Zeus
April 2005

Update!April 3, 2005 Clyde has adapted very well to his new home and his new name...Zeus. He and Leeba play every day...all day! He gets bigger every day. He went to the vet a couple weeks ago and weighed in at 22.3 pounds! We are having fun with the blanket I'm crocheting. I crochet it and he unravels it. Thanks again for blessing our family with him.

ClydeWhile in RescueAdopted March 12, 2004 Clyde (renamed Zues) was a red sable, 12 week old, male, German Shepherd Dog puppy. Bred by a backyard breeder these pups (Bonnie and Clyde) were not sold out of the litter in time and were deemed "too old" and turned out to run the streets of their small town. These two little ones were out all by themselves and caught by a good rescuer who could get them into the safety of a rescue to find a new home, even at the elderly age of 12 weeks! Located in Illinois' puppy-mill-central, these little ones were given a chance at a good life thanks to the hard work of a dedicated rescue volunteer working in the heart of canine terror.

A special thank you goes out to Clyde's sponsor: Laura Staisiunas in honor of her two rescued German Shepherds, Feather and Sage
