LADY
is a nearly 2 year old, female, German Shepherd Dog that
was brought in by the owner. The owner said they had too many dogs.
She said that Lady did not like strangers. At first, Lady would
not let any of the staff near her. The owner had to take her to
her kennel. But, only a half hour later, one of the volunteer youth
was petting her through the kennel door. After giving her a day
to get settled in, she is fine. She is suppose to be ok with other
dogs, but we want to give her a few days to get used to her new
surroundings before putting another dog with her. She is a very
good looking girl. She will be spayed before adoption.

LILLY
is a 2-3 year old, German Shepherd Dog mix. She came
in as an owner turn-in. She had come up to a house several months
ago and the owners thought about keeping her, but just a few weeks
ago a little puppy (Maggie G) showed up as well and the people decided
they couldn't keep either of them. Lilly looks after little Maggie
just as if she was the momma. Lilly will be spayed prior to adoption.
UPDATE:3-30-03 Little Maggie has been adopted already, so Lilly
is by herself for a few days. She is a sweet girl and loves belly
rubs and hugs. She is very calm and just wants someone to care for
her and maybe let her crawl up on the couch with them.
