Fonzie Photo Gallery

February 19, 2006

Fonzie and Fatso are getting along great, although I think Fonzie's name should have been Houdini! He has mangaged to escape from his cage several times, but we have fixed that problem. Now he is enjoying his new life I hope. I love having him around. We will be sending some pictures shortly...Thanks for the new addition to the family

FonzieAdopted February 2006 Fonzie was a 10 month old, neutered male, sable German Shepherd Dog. He was 70 pounds of puppy. Fonzie had his AKC papers and breeder information. Unfortunately his parents were not overly impressive and the breeder offered no help or interest in the fact that Fonzie was dumped at a pound and made his way into rescue. The breeder never contacted us again after our initial call to her, so we must assume that she isn't a quality German Shepherd breeder. However, Fonzie, despite being dumped by his owner and forgotten by the person who brought him into this world, was very sweet. Please read "What constitutes a good breeder?"

A special thank you goes out to Fonzie's sponsors: John Stein. Michael and Sherry Eckert in honor of Noir. Eden Roy. Cheryl Smith in memory of Rommel and in honor of Big John. Susann Laird in loving memory of Jake. Steve Hitz in memory of Marah & Gretchen and in honor of Dweezel & Heidi.
