Just wanted to let you know that Simon is doing great! He has made tons of friends with his cousins back home, and he may even be getting a brother kitten (is that a brother???) We just love Simon, he fits in perfectly and has helped make our house whole.

Photos: 1) Simon resting after an eventful day. 2) Simon playing with a friend. 3) Simon enjoying a chewy.

Simon is doing GREAT! He is adjusting very well to his new home. No more car chasing activities for him. We have become very aware of just how much he loves the cars! He is testing us, however, to see what he can get away with...drinking out of the toilet! hahaha. Other than that, he is perfect. He loves to play, and sometimes mistakes my hand for a chew toy, but its all in good fun. He also gets to sleep in bed with us, but decides to sleep in his cage at times as well. Overall, We couldn't have asked for a better dog! I am so glad that we found him, we absolutely adore him.

SimonAdopted July 18, 2005 Simon is a 2 yr old, male-neutered, black/tan German Shepherd/Malamute mix,. He is a reserved and a laid back gentleman. Simon just likes to hang out. He is a people and dog watcher and seems to soak up all the information of his surroundings. He will stand on his back legs, nose to nose with you and stare into your eyes. You just get the feeling he understands everything that is going on. The shelter he was at had a volunteer that really loved Simon very much, and Simon was running out of time. He wasn't a pure bred Shepherd, but to save someone's friend, he was Shepherd enough for us.

A special thank you to Simon's sponsors: Linda and James Wilson. Michael and Sherry Eckert in memory of Ezekial and Lechariah. Michael Wang. Sonia Ravin in honor of Sabrina. Rebecca Kuk in loving memory of her beloved Oscar the GSD. Thank you Rebecca Kuk for your continued contribution to Simon's care.
